Morning, Dollies! Don't ask why I started writing way down here-  Blogger's going nuts on me and it won't let me write any higher than this point for some reason. Ah the joys of the tech world- haha!

This lovely frock is a handmade creation from Odds and Toes. Ann truly did such a lovely job on this pretty 50's style day dress. The cotton is super nice and light for Spring ( helps to survive these 90 degree days ;), and oh so pretty!

Is this not the neatest farm? Believe it or not, this is the place where they shot the race in the 2003 Seabiscuit movie! It is completely deserted- well that is to say, with the exception of one little dog. He barked a bit when we first arrived and later was content just to lay down from a distance and keep a watchful eye on us creepers- hehe ;)

Spring to It!

When eShakti asked me to style one of their dresses, I was so excited! And I must say, this company has not disappointed! First off, eShakti sells the prettiest little frocks, all of which are fully customizable down to the sleeves and length! I chose a lovely, sunshine yellow cap sleeve number. I love the draping of the skirt on this dress- it has such a pretty, lady-like feel. The quality is fantastic- the fabric has a great feel to it, and all of the sewing is really nicely done. If you want to experience eShakti's amazingness for yourself, you can follow them on Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter. Into the Woods readers, save 10% off your next eShakti order with promo code "altes" at the checkout!

Field of Dreams

You girls may be curious to know the reason for my long tresses- what can I say? My hair grows fast! Haha, just kidding ;) I have been playing with different alternatives for my hair lately, and couldn't resist. This clip in piece is from a hair extension shop called Luxurious Locks. It's heat resistant so it can even be curled as long as you make sure your iron is the right temperature. Gina worked with me to find just the right color to match my hair- she did an incredible job!

This month I teamed up with Moxie 2 Runway Vintage to style this dreamy, field shoot. This dress is an authentic 1930s number ( can you believe it!?) and is available for purchase here. I can't even say how amazing it was to wear this dress for a shoot- as you can see the skirt is all sorts of amazing. Most of all, it's over 80 years old and in stellar condition. Moxie 2 Runway Vintage is offering Into the Woods readers 20% off any order with the code AlwaysIntoTheWoods

A couple of months ago we got one, nice rain for about a day or two. Just from that little bit of water, our countryside is blooming with wildflowers and greenery. It's a refreshing change when everything has been so dry and brown. The days have been up to the 90's here lately!

I knew these gorgeous little flower hair combs would be the perfect addition to this outfit! I love the glass and pearl details- I think this set of combs would be so pretty on a Spring bride <3 You can find your own set at Royal E Xander in different colors, as well as several other stunning hair accessories.
