THE TRAIL
Jonathan and I met through a hiking group. It's no wonder that hiking is among one of our favorite weekend activities. Virginia is a goldmine for epic rock lookouts, especially when hiking the Appalachian trail, which spans from the state of Georgia to Maine. We recently hit up Humpback Rocks to celebrate my 20th, which was at the beginning of December. So you can imagine, life was a little chilly at the top of the mountain. On the plus side, the few streams that run down the mountainside were frozen over, so we had the chance to see some icicles that had formed along the trail.
