Blushing Bride

Nope- I'm not getting married- haha! But this 1950s wedding dress called for a bridal themed post. I wore this dress to a Christmas ball last year, and as lovely as it is, I fear I won't find another occasion to wear it for. With that said, I am actually selling this beauty- it's in perfect condition, with the exception of about a 6" tear hidden in the chiffon skirts (I walked into a rose bush accidentally on the shoot- need I say more)? The tear is reasonably sized, but due to the fullness of the skirt, it definitely blends in. If you are interested in purchasing the dress for your next special event, or maybe even your big day, you can shoot me an email at

You always look like a princess. How gorgeous. I hope that you are able to find someone to fix the tear. Perhaps you can bring it somewhere to be fixed? I had a metal zipper break off (the teeth came off) of my favorite dress a couple years ago and got it fixed with a new zipper which made me sad because that was what made it known it was vintage most. However since then a piece ripped because it sucked in a half an inch from them fixing the dress which then made it too small for me. I had to let the dress go....and it was very sad.

I love the way this dress was made! It really does look like a wedding dress. It is like you have bride photos here without being one. You look more gorgeous as a "bride" than I did on my wedding day as an actual bride. no joke.

May you have a grand day!

So, so gorgeous! Haha, I have an addiction to wedding dresses, apparently -- I currently own four. One of them was my wedding dress, and the other three are from the 30's and the 60's and 70's. I would SO buy this dress, except I really don't need more wedding dresses... cuz... I already got married.

You are always such a stunner, Alex!

@Victoria It is such a shame when beautiful vintage pieces are damaged! You are so sweet, but I know that's not true- I've seen pictures from your wedding, and you looked completely stunning <3 <3

This is so so beautiful! I have been searching for a vintage wedding dress for a bit now because I knew how hard it would be. It is actually quite frustrating because there are very view that are over a size 6 or so.

Anyway, this looks lovely on you and I'm loving the lipstick too!
