Good morning, Dollies! I am super excited to be doing my first haul video. I made a stop at some stores and picked up a few different products I have been dying to try. Enjoy!
I have been literally counting down the days until I could share this dress with you all! This extraordinary little frock was sent to me from Nicole of The Ladies Armory. I am always hunting for pretty Summer dresses, and this one doesn't disappoint! I have worn it on nearly 5 different occasions already- I can see this becoming a favorite of mine! The dress is made from a light, vintage cotton- perfect for the warm weather. I love the classic shape paired with the full circle skirt- it's a work of art! Nicole has several other lovely dresses available- do be sure and take a look!
I am now back from my little mini vacation. For those of you who asked on social media, it was a four day event that was hosted through my school, called the Spring Fling. The days are filled with all sorts of activities, from debates and paper presentations, to sports and choral singing. On the third day we have what would be my school's equivalent to prom- but the best part is that it is all comprised of old fashioned contra-dance (like the Virginia reel) and my personal favorite, swing dancing.

Good morning, Sunshines! As I write this, I am attempting to multi-task- I am getting ready for a little four day mini-vacation ( yeah)!! So, if I am a little slow in responding to you all this week, you will know why!
On another note, if you ladies haven't had the chance yet, be sure and check out my last post, What's in My Camera Bag Summer Edition!
Today I am featuring this 1940s style handmade dress from Clothing by Michelle. This dress is actually a reproduction of the Katniss Everdeen Reaping dress. I found this fabric from M&M Cotton House- I thought the light yellow floral print would be perfect for the warm weather. It was so much fun to work with Michelle to customize this dress, from the fabric to the buttons.

Well- I have to admit, I wasn't sure how good this location would serve for photos, but I'm pleasantly surprised. This is just a spot near my house, beside a local church- who would have guessed it would turn out to be such a pretty place? I was especially pleased to find pink blossoms on those trees- yea!!
This skirt is a lovely, handmade piece from Poison Apple. I had been wanting a plain, black circle skirt for some time- I think this one is so adorable! Best part? You can customize the length ( always a plus if you are tall ;). Not to mention, it's one of those staple pieces to have in your wardrobe for Spring, Summer Fall and Winter.
So yeah, I did buy another boater hat ( it's different than the one I have, I promise! lol)! I found this at Forever 21 last week and couldn't resist. It's real straw, unlike my Mossimo boater, so it lays a lot nicer. The brim is a bit larger as well which I thought would be pretty for Summer.
So maybe you gals have noticed the increasing amount of videos that I have been making as of late. I've really been enjoying tapping into the YouTube world- particularly anything beauty related. What are your girls thoughts? Do you enjoy seeing tutorials and style diary type videos on the blog, in addition to outfit posts?
