This was once a maternity dress that I found in my Mom's closet. With just a pair of scissors and a sewing machine to hem the bottom, I turned this into a tunic top. The fabric is from the late 80's, early 90's and that is just what is in style now. If you don't have a sewing machine, try some fabric glue. It won't hold as well as stitches but it will achieve that nice clean hem you want. Something like this goes really well with a belt, cardigan, and a pair of capris.
My work is about capturing the spark of imperfect romance. It's about the small, tiny, beautiful details that bring the family together. It's about all of the things that bring meaning to life. It's authentic, it's natural. It's real.
